Cancellation Policy
Once booked, the reservation must be terminated in writing by the Renter. Based on the date of termination the following refund policies will be in place:
● Cancellations made 30 or more days prior to check-in date are subject to a full refund minus payment processing fees
● Cancellations made more than 14 days but less than 30 days prior to check-in date are subject to a 50% refund of total rental amount and taxes, and 100% refund of cleaning fee and pet fee, minus payment processing fees
● Cancellations made within 14 days of check-in date are subject to a refund of the cleaning fee and pet fee minus payment processing fees

It was hard to tell whether my dog or I loved Sara’s place more! The home was exactly what we were looking for, a peaceful escape from the city where we could truly unplug and enjoy the quiet. The location was ideal, just a little over an hour from the city. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I especially loved the cozy office space with the record player. We spent hours reading in the nook and listening to Whitney Houston, which made the stay feel extra special. The thoughtful details throughout the home, like the ring holders and adorable cat spoons, didn’t go unnoticed and really elevated the experience. The yard was wonderful, perfect for relaxing (and for my dog who absolutely goes crazy in the snow!), and the neighbors were friendly. Overall, it was a beautiful, calming stay, and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet retreat.

We spent Christmas here with my parents and couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful stay. The home was cozy, quiet, and ideal for unwinding. We especially enjoyed bird watching from the property and cooking meals together in the well-appointed gourmet kitchen. A lovely, relaxing retreat. Sara is incredibly responsive, proactive, and even offered some local recommendations!

Sara’s place was perfect in every way. Little touches to make it feel like home. Super comfy. Super soft throw blankies for the cooler evenings. Or mornings! Bed upstairs is so comfy. Warm. Great heating. Heated bathroom floor. What a treat!! Plentiful pantry. Spices. Tea coffee. Even popcorn!! Water filer in fridge. Plenty of pots pans etc. it was so easy to feel at home. 💖 We had a couple of things to take care of just due to time and unforeseen occurrence - not neglect, and Sara got on it right away and they were taken care of that day. That’s super awesome customer care.!! We have no faults to air with Sara. She is an awesome host. Very attentive and super communicative. We loved her even tho we didn’t meet her. 💖🧸💝 If we can stay again we will. Absolutely would recommend her place. You will be so happy. 😁 🥰🥰

I would give more stars if I could, this was the perfect place for our long weekend! The cabin was very homey and inviting, and everything was so clean. The heated bathroom floor was a very nice surprise! The location was perfect as there was plenty do to close by (walk to the lake, grab a bite from the Putnam Market) and also a short trip from some of the other destinations we wanted to visit. Thank you for a great experience, we would love to come back!

A terrific place to escape and enjoy the scenic Hudson Valley area. The house is conveniently located just outside of the main tourist areas, but close enough that anything you want to do is well within reach. Great for a couple or small family, the house offered plenty of space along with all of the amenities that you'd expect, with a few extra bonuses that make it feel like a home away from home!
